Scott Plantz, MD - Director
Scott H. Plantz, MD, FAAEM, is the Medical Director. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, and founder of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Plantz has over 15 years experience in emergency and family care, and he is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed residency training at Mayo Clinic and the University of Illinois. Dr. Plantz is the author and editor of fifteen textbooks in emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and family medicine. He is the Editor of eMedicine, the most used online emergency medicine textbook in the United States.

Jeff Thompson
Mr. Thompson has over 29 years of experience in the medical field. He began as a Medical Corpsman in the U.S. Air Force in 1976, where he also received specialty training in laboratory medicine. He is a graduate of the Physician Assistant Program, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. He has twelve years experience in the field of Maxillo-Facial Surgery. He has three years experience working at the highly-regarded rural health clinic, Wimauma Family Health Center and Walk-In Clinic, prior to joining our staff in December 2005.
